JULIEN RAHMANI - Photographe né en Allemagne ayant grandi dans le sud de la France, il évolue dans un environnement multiculturel imprégné de ses racines iraniennes et algériennes. Son projet « Soft Ball » documente le cricket de rue en Arabie Saoudite, où des centaines de travailleurs sud-asiatiques marginalisés se rassemblent chaque vendredi matin à Riyad. Immergé pendant trois ans dans cette communauté, il met en lumière la réappropriation de ce sport issu de la colonisation britannique et la fraternité qui en découle.

JULIEN RAHMANI – German-born photographer raised in the south of France within a multicultural environment shaped by his Iranian and Algerian roots. His project "Soft Ball" documents the street cricket scene in Saudi Arabia, where hundreds of often marginalized South Asian workers gather every Friday morning in Riyadh. Having embedded himself in this community for three years, his work celebrates the reappropriation of this sport from its British colonial origins and the brotherhood it creates.
